索尼2016年推出4K超高清图像传感器IMX477 支持SME-HDR DOL-HDR
索尼最近为多传感器产品应用推出新款CMOS图像传感器型号IMX477，IMX477是一款1/2.3英寸类型，采用1.55um单像素工艺技术支持总有效像素1230万视频拍摄。 该新款CMOS图像传感器同时支持索尼独家SME-HDR (Spatially Multiplexed Exposure HDR, 分区高动态范围曝光) 及 DOL-HDR (Digital Overlap HDR, 数字重迭高动态)高级图像处理技术。此外，该图像传感器可支持双传感器同步操作，IMX477同样采用背光式成像技术可实现在低照度下拍摄高质量图像。
与2015年推出的Sony IMX377一样，最新款IMX477同样支持1230万像素，在ADC10位模式下，拍摄视频格式最高可支持4K2K分辨率（4056x3040） 60帧每秒高帧视频拍摄。如果开启SME-HDR模式， 摄像头可支持4K@60fps拍摄，而开启DOL-HDR后仅支持30fps实时帧率拍摄。 因为IMX477采用了10.70mm (H)x8.50mm(V)x1.62mm(T)小尺寸封装，使该图像传感器更适合于多图像传感器摄像头产品的应用。 索尼IMX477不仅可以被使用在高帧率运动相机中，并且可广泛应用于多镜头360度全景摄像头（消费摄像机，安防摄像机，工业相机）及VR摄像机等产品中。

Sony recently released the IMX477 CMOS image sensor which is dedicated to multi-lenses HD video applications, it’s a 1/2.3 inch type, 1.55um pixel cell image sensor outputs 12.3 megapixel effective pixels. This new CMOS image sensor features SME-HDR (Spatially Multiplexed Exposure HDR) and DOL-HDR (Digital Overlap HDR), supports dual sensor synchronization operation, IMX477 also adopts the back-illuminated technology can achieve better image quality under low light illumination condition.
The Sony IMX477 can support up to 12.3 megapixel @ 60 frames per second video shooting under the ADC 10bit mode, the resolution format is 4056x3040. Enabling the SME-HDR mode, the camera can support 60fps, while it supports 30fps if enabling the DOL-HDR mode. Moreover, the IMX477 adopts 10.70mm(H) ×8.50mm(V) ×1.62mm(t) size package, such kind of small size package dimension benefits to the application of based multiple image sensors product’s application. The Sony IMX477 can not only be used in high frame rate sports cameras, but also can be widely used in 360 degree panoramic cameras or VR cameras.

The IMX477 from Sony is a 12.3 megapixel CMOS Image Sensor with a square pixel array. It uses Sony's Stacked CMOS Image Sensor technology to achieve high-speed image capturing by column-parallel A/D converter circuits and high sensitivity and low noise image (comparing with conventional CMOS image sensor) through the backside illuminated imaging pixel structure. The sensor has an electronic shutter with variable integration time and employs R, G, and B pigment primary color mosaic filter. It operates with three power supply voltages: analog 2.8 V, digital 1.05 V and 1.8 V for input/output interface and achieves low power consumption. This product is designed for use in consumer use camcorder only.
